I'm delighted that my etchings are currently on display in the 171 Annual Open @rwabristol and are available for purchase in the RWA online shop (links in bio).
They represent an evocative walk around Killarney Lake on Bowen Island, just off Vancouver, BC, in Canada. I was struck by the symbolism of those stark tree trunks still standing in the water and how they brought to mind certain elements of our history and how that symbolism reflected on the world today. Displacement, loss of identities, alien landscapes, dispossession, migration and, not least, the scary effects of climate change. The titles of my etchings are "New World", "Displacement” and "Fugue".
