As our name suggests, the maximum membership of the group is capped at 21, so new memberships are only possible as and when a vacancy arises. Applications are voted on by each member of the group and the outcome of the voting process is confirmed at our AGM, after which time applicants are notified of their success or otherwise. In order for us to process applications before the AGM (usually held around Easter) we need to have received them by Jan 1st of that year. Applications received after this date will be considered in the following year.
At present we do/have vacancies in the group and there are (0) of artists currently on our shortlist.
Our predominant aim in taking on new members is always to focus upon the quality of the applicants’ work. But given the small size of our group other factors are also considered, such as a need for all members to be able to contribute actively in some manner to the effective running of the group.
